In response to the critical need of enhancing capacity on project-level reporting, the GIP WG2 will host an event on March 28th titled “Unlocking Finance in Sustainable Infrastructure: Leveraging Opportunities by Enhancing Disclosure”. WG2 is co-chaired by HSBC and CACIB, with support from EY. 

Infrastructure is responsible for up to 79% of all greenhouse gas emissions and is a primary focus of the BRI projects financed by China. This places the sector at the heart of efforts to achieve the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals. Therefore, this seminar will provide an overview of the FAST-Infra Label, an initiative aimed at identifying and promoting infrastructure projects that adhere to high sustainability standards and inspire investor confidence. Additionally, the event will feature the sharing of case studies that illustrate effective practices in the collection, assessment, and disclosure of sustainability information for infrastructure projects.
